The response to the doodle at=20

was small, and was from the set of usual participants who could probably =

make progress even without a dedicated call.

Offline I had a regular participant suggest that maybe the interest in=20
virtual codesprints just isn't that high.

So I have two questions:

1) Is it worth setting time aside for the regular small group of people, =

or should we shift to a model for those folks to just pick up tickets=20

2) Would interest be different if we changed the virtual format on some=20

I have to agree with Russ on this. It's really helpful to have a fixed block
of time to kick off something. That and the ticket suggestion and hint on
getting started are often all I need to run with it.

So, our best day for this month was tomorrow, which really isn't the
best notice. The second best was Friday - would you like me to proceed
with setting something up then?

The dates we tried in June were not good for most - I can try doodling
some other June weeks if you prefer.

I'm going to have to agree with Russ again. This week is out for me (as
reflected in the original Doodle).

I think a new doodle would be better.

Other weeks in June would be better for me. We’re going to Yosemite
that week.

I think the virtual code sprints are somewhat effective, but not as much
as in person. I only manage to accomplish a small fix or something
before work or distractions intervene. I sometimes wonder if that little
bit outweighs the amount of support I need (getting questions answered,
etc.). No need to answer that.

Here's a doodle to see if there's a good day in the next few weeks. If
we don't find something here, I'll put together a different doodle later
for something in late Jun/Jul.

All -

If you have working copies that you want to keep using, you should
change the svn server they point to using the svn command as follows:

$ svn relocate https://svn.tools.ietf.org/svn/tools/ietfdb
https://svn.ietf.org/svn/tools/ietfdb

$ svn up

You would do similar things if you have working copies of xml2rfc.

Fresh checkouts should be made using
https://svn.ietf.org/svn/tools/ietfdb going forward.

Trac has also been moved. Redirects are in place to help you land in the
right places, but please update any bookmarks you find.

Please help me spot and correct places in the documentation (the sprint
pages at the ietfdb wiki will need a global update - I'm happy to let
someone else do that if they have the energy.

Note that that URL redirects to https://trac.ietf.org/trac/ietfdb

You'll need to login (with your datatracker credentials) to view tickets.

fwiw, I'm considering changing the permissions to allow viewing tickets
anonymously again - we started requiring that at tools.ietf.org to help
avoid the extra load from badly-behaved robots. I think we could better
handle that with cloudflare, but there is some setup investigation that
needs to happen first.
