Gonzalo,
I had a look at the criteria here:

https://www.ietf.org/iesg/statement/errata-processing.html

and it states that this condition should be satisfied to log an erratum:

Only errors that could cause implementation or deployment problems or significant confusion should be Verified.

I'm wondering about whether this meets the criteria. On the one hand, this is a mainstream state transition (I1-SENT gets to I2-SENT upon receiving an R1, not an R2). On the other hand, this section is clearly informational (section 4.4) and the transition is correctly noted in the Table 3 in this section (also informative) and in the normative Section 6.8.

So, I wonder whether this is in the category of "could cause significant confusion" or rather whether an implementer would just recognize this as an obvious typo in conflict with other parts of the specification.

Any opinions about this?

- Tom

As someone who ended up as interim Document Shepherd for a document that
had over 100 errata pending from the previous version of the
specification, I encourage you to file the erratum, even though it will
be classified as "held for document update". The set of such errata
provides the preparers of the next revision with a convenient,
easy-to-find list of "things to fix". No one is going to go through the
entire email archive of hipsec to (re)discover the error that you are
now reporting, but if it is in the errata list, it will be easy to find
when the time comes.

I invite you all to review hip-dex-04. Rene has worked very hard
getting the last edit changes done.

Zigbee has hip-dex in their profile for mesh security, plus it is
reference in 802.15.9 which is entering Sponsor Balloting.

So I hope Rene and I have done a good job here, but we do need the
review. I will be working with the ADs on steps to get this through the
process.

See you all soon at the IETF (sitting in Schipol; missed my connection)
Arriving in Prague around 5:30 today.

A new version of I-D, draft-moskowitz-hip-dex-04.txt
has been successfully submitted by Rene Hummen and posted to the
IETF repository.

Name: draft-moskowitz-hip-dex
Revision:	04
Title: HIP Diet EXchange (DEX)
Document date:	2015-07-20
Group: Individual Submission
Pages: 46
URL: https://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-moskowitz-hip-dex-04.txt
Status: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-moskowitz-hip-dex/
Htmlized: https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-moskowitz-hip-dex-04
Diff: https://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-moskowitz-hip-dex-04

Abstract:
This document specifies the Host Identity Protocol Diet EXchange (HIP
DEX), a variant of the Host Identity Protocol Version 2 (HIPv2). The
HIP DEX protocol design aims at reducing the overhead of the employed
cryptographic primitives by omitting public-key signatures and hash
functions. In doing so, the main goal is to still deliver similar
    security properties to HIPv2.

The HIP DEX protocol is primarily designed for computation or memory-
constrained sensor/actuator devices. Like HIPv2, it is expected to
be used together with a suitable security protocol such as the
Encapsulated Security Payload (ESP) for the protection of upper layer
protocol data. In addition, HIP DEX can also be used as a keying
mechanism for security primitives at the MAC layer, e.g., for IEEE
    802.15.4 networks.

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission
until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Host Identity Protocol Working Group of the IETF.

Title : Host Mobility with the Host Identity Protocol
        Authors : Thomas R. Henderson
                          Christian Vogt
                          Jari Arkko
	Filename : draft-ietf-hip-rfc5206-bis-09.txt
	Pages : 34
	Date : 2015-07-22

Abstract:
This document defines mobility extensions to the Host Identity
Protocol (HIP). Specifically, this document defines a general
"LOCATOR_SET" parameter for HIP messages that allows for a HIP host
to notify peers about alternate addresses at which it may be reached.
This document also defines elements of procedure for mobility of a
HIP host -- the process by which a host dynamically changes the
primary locator that it uses to receive packets. While the same
LOCATOR_SET parameter can also be used to support end-host
multihoming, detailed procedures are out of scope for this document.
   This document obsoletes RFC 5206.

Below are my (minor) comments on this draft. It is mostly unchanged from RFC6253, and I am fine with proceeding once the nits are fixed.

- references to RFC4843 should be replaced by references to RFC7343

- IANA considerations section should be redone; since you are not introducing any new parameters, you should just ask IANA to replace references to RFC6253 (for the CERT parameter, Certificate Types, and Notify Message Types) with references to this specification.

- in Section 3, replace
  IP Address:2001:2C:5a14:26de:a07c:385b:de35:60e3
  with
  IP Address:2001:2c:5a14:26de:a07c:385b:de35:60e3

This draft version provides some new text regarding the double jump mobility problem, which is listed as one of the open issues on this draft:

http://trac.tools.ietf.org/wg/hip/trac/ticket/12

This is in the new section 3.2.3 linked below:
https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-hip-rfc5206-bis-09#section-3.2.3

Comments/review would be appreciated. Otherwise, the rest of the draft is a refresh.

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Host Identity Protocol Working Group of the IETF.

Title : Native NAT Traversal Mode for the Host Identity Protocol
        Authors : Ari Keranen
                          Jan Melen
	Filename : draft-ietf-hip-native-nat-traversal-09.txt
	Pages : 13
	Date : 2015-07-23

Abstract:
This document specifies a new Network Address Translator (NAT)
traversal mode for the Host Identity Protocol (HIP). The new mode is
based on the Interactive Connectivity Establishment (ICE) methodology
and UDP encapsulation of data and signaling traffic. The main
difference from the previously specified modes is the use of HIP
messages for all NAT traversal procedures.

The IETF datatracker status page for this draft is:

There's also a htmlized version available at:

A diff from the previous version is available at:
https://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-ietf-hip-native-nat-traversal-09

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission
until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Host Identity Protocol Working Group of the IETF.

Title : Host Identity Protocol Certificates
        Authors : Tobias Heer
                          Samu Varjonen
	Filename : draft-ietf-hip-rfc6253-bis-03.txt
	Pages : 11
	Date : 2015-07-27

Abstract:
The Certificate (CERT) parameter is a container for digital
certificates. It is used for carrying these certificates in Host
Identity Protocol (HIP) control packets. This document specifies the
certificate parameter and the error signaling in case of a failed
verification. Additionally, this document specifies the
representations of Host Identity Tags in X.509 version 3 (v3) and
Simple Public Key Infrastructure (SPKI) certificates.

The concrete use cases of certificates, including how certificates
are obtained, requested, and which actions are taken upon successful
or failed verification, are specific to the scenario in which the
certificates are used. Hence, the definition of these scenario-
specific aspects is left to the documents that use the CERT
   parameter.

   This document extends [RFC7401].

The IETF datatracker status page for this draft is:
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-hip-rfc6253-bis/

There's also a htmlized version available at:
https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-hip-rfc6253-bis-03

A diff from the previous version is available at:
https://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-ietf-hip-rfc6253-bis-03

Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission
until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.

Internet-Drafts are also available by anonymous FTP at:
