The IESG has approved the following document:
- 'Prefix Delegation Support for Proxy Mobile IPv6'
  (draft-ietf-netext-pd-pmip-14.txt) as Proposed Standard

This document is the product of the Network-Based Mobility Extensions
Working Group.

The IESG contact persons are Brian Haberman and Ted Lemon.

A URL of this Internet Draft is:
http://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-netext-pd-pmip/

Technical Summary:

This specification defines extensions to Proxy Mobile IPv6 protocol
for allowing a mobile router in a Proxy Mobile IPv6 domain to obtain
delegated IP prefixes for its attached mobile networks. The mobility
entities in the network will provide network-based mobility
management support for those delegated IP prefixes just as how IP
mobility support is provided for the mobile node's home address.
Even as the mobile router performs a handoff and changes its network
point of attachment, mobility support is ensured for all the
delegated IP prefixes and for all the IP nodes in the mobile network
that use IP address configuration from those delegated IP prefixes.

Working Group Summary:

The working group has discussed this I-D at length. Comments by
  Alexandru Petrescu
  (http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/netext/current/msg02815.html)
claimed that the proposal was similar to work being done in other
working groups. However the working group members believe that this
extension is essential for Proxy Mobile IPv6 and hence needs to be
  published on its own.

Document Quality:

The document has been reviewed extensively and revised as a result
of these reviews. The quality of the document at this time is good
  and ready for IESG review.
No known implementations of this extension to the Proxy Mobile IPv6
protocol exist. However a few vendors have expressed plans to
  implement it.
All reviewers have been appropriately acknowledged in the I-D.

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts director=
ies.
This draft is a work item of the Network-Based Mobility Extensions Working=
 Group of the IETF.

Title : Separation of Control and User Plane for Proxy Mo=
bile IPv6
        Authors : Ryuji Wakikawa
                          Rajesh S. Pazhyannur
                          Sri Gundavelli
                          Charles E. Perkins
	Filename : draft-ietf-netext-pmip-cp-up-separation-01.txt
	Pages : 8
	Date : 2014-01-13

Abstract:
This document describes splitting of Control Plane (CP) and User
Plane (UP) for a Proxy Mobile IPv6 based network infrastructure.
Existing specifications allow a MAG to perform splitting of its
control and user plane using Alternate Care of address mobility
option for IPv6, or Alternate IPv4 Care of Address option for IPv4.
However, the current specification does not have semantics for
allowing the LMA to perform such functional split. To realize this
requirement, this specification defines a mobility option that
enables a local mobility anchor to provide an alternate LMA address
to be used for the bi-directional tunnel between the MAG and LMA.
With this extension, a local mobility anchor will be able to use an
IP address for its user plane which is different than the IP address
   used for the control plane.

Hello,

This is the WG last call for the I-D: Quality of Service Option for
Proxy Mobile IPv6 <draft-ietf-netext-pmip6-qos-10.txt>

Abstract

This specification defines a new mobility option, the Quality of
Service (QoS) option, for Proxy Mobile IPv6. This option can be used
by the local mobility anchor and the mobile access gateway for
negotiating Quality of Service parameters for a mobile node's IP
flows. The negotiated QoS parameters can be used for QoS policing
and marking of packets to enforce QoS differentiation on the path
between the local mobility anchor and the mobile access gateway.
Furthermore, making QoS parameters available on the mobile access
gateway enables mapping of these parameters to QoS rules that are
specific to the access technology and allows those rules to be
enforced on the access network using access technology specific
   approaches.

The I-D is intended for publication as a proposed standard.
The deadline for receiving reviews, comments, feedback is February 7th,
2014.

Please send your review comments to the mailing list, chairs or,
authors.

Hi all,

Current version is in fine shape. I could see my previous comment was
reflected as well in the new version.

I think this draft is ready for publication.

Regards,

Seil Jeon

Subject: [netext] WGLC for I-D: draft-ietf-netext-pmip6-qos

2014.

Please send your review comments to the mailing list, chairs or,

authors.

Hi,

The comments I made to an earlier version of the draft have been
addressed, so I'm supportive of this document.

BTW, in the ACKs, there is no need of thanking me twice ("Carlos Jesus,
Bernardos Cano," :D

Dear all,
My comments are quite similar to those of Carlos:=20
My comments had already been addressed last year - but that seemed to have=
introduced my name a 2nd time in ack section: Once is enough ;-)
So: I support the WGLC for the draft also in -10.
Thanks!
Best regards
Dirk

Hi,

The comments I made to an earlier version of the draft have been addressed,=
so I'm supportive of this document.

BTW, in the ACKs, there is no need of thanking me twice ("Carlos Jesus, Ber=
nardos Cano," :D

Dirk - Usually, When we wanted to really thank some one, we repeat the
name few times. More the instance count implies more we appreciate :)
One of the Authors added your name, but then some other Author also wanted
to thank you as well and so here we are =8A :)

On a serious note, thanks for the catch, we will fix that. We did not make
similar mistake with Carlos though, its just ignorance on the multiple
Surname concept in Spain and so the long name =8A

Sri

Hi all,

Please note that I have had provided comments on the previous version of th=
is draft.

In this version of the draft the authors worked out well my comments!

Therefore, I think that this version is ready for IETF last call!

Best regards,

Georgios

Onderwerp: [netext] WGLC for I-D: draft-ietf-netext-pmip6-qos

The deadline for receiving reviews, comments, feedback is February 7th,
2014.

Please send your review comments to the mailing list, chairs or,
authors.

> Abstract

> This specification defines a new mobility option, the Quality of

used
> by the local mobility anchor and the mobile access gateway for

> Furthermore, making QoS parameters available on the mobile access
> gateway enables mapping of these parameters to QoS rules that are
