Hi,

apparently there is an NMRG meeting scheduled for Orlando. How do I
prepare for it? Any I-Ds to read or watch out for? Is there already a
draft agenda so we know which topics will be covered?

             CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

Management Aspects of Emerging Networking Paradigms

29th Network Management Research Group (NMRG) meeting
             Co-located with IETF 86
                  March 14, 2013
                 Orlando, FL, USA

Emerging Network Paradigms, such as Information-Centric
Networking (ICN), Software Defined Networking (SDN),
and Dynamic Circuit Networking (DCN), will require
management functions in order to properly operate.
Current IETF standards (e.g., SNMP, IPFIX, NETCONF),
however, may not be sufficient for such new paradigms.
The goal of the 29th meeting of the IRTF's Network
Management Research Group (NMRG) is to bring together
people from emerging networking paradigms communities
to share their views on which management necessities
will have to be faced in the near future, considering
the current status of IETF management standards.

We invite interested speakers to briefly describe their
potential talks informing:

1) Which emerging networking paradigm is the talk about

2) Which management functions will potentially be
   required

3) What are the perspectives from a standardization
   point-of-view.

The 29th NMRG meeting will take place on March 14, 2013
09:00~11:30, during IETF 86. We expect to have a
meeting composed of 4 to 6 presentations.

Contributions should be submitted via e-mail to
granville@inf.ufrgs.br and olivier.festor@inria.fr no
later than March 1st.
