This problem occurred on Dec 22 and I reported it to the ietf-action alias.=
The response was that it would be reported to the tools team. And, coinci=
dentally, Henrik responded Monday:=0A=
=0A=
Yes, there can be probles with SPF when going through alias lists. I've=0A=
asked about possible remedies for this from people who are wise in the=0A=
ways of SPF, and it seems the alternatives are worse than what's being=0A=
done now.=0A=
=0A=
So any mail to the draft author mail alias for drafts with bbn authors (or =
any other strict SPF checking mail system) will bounce.=0A=
=0A=
I would think there would be a not insignificant number of such cases. If =
the problem cannot be corrected, I think it would be good to report to the =
wgchairs list.=0A=

On the tools site, the wg status pages (eg http://tools.ietf.org/wg/sidr) h=
ave a section for drafts in the RFC-Editor's queue.=0A=
=0A=
The URL used points to queue.html. That page exists (and is kept current),=
but had been replaced by queue2.html. The two are very similar but the qu=
eue2 page contains more info.=0A=
=0A=
E.g., =0A=
the link on http://tools.ietf.org/wg/sidr for the architecture draft points=
 to http://www.rfc-editor.org/queue.html#draft-ietf-sidr-arch =0A=
while the link on http://datatracker.ietf.org/wg/sidr/ points to http://www=
.rfc-editor.org/queue2.html#draft-ietf-sidr-arch.=0A=
=0A=
Right now, a bunch of documents are in auth48, and the queue2 page has a li=
nk to a page indicating which authors have responded. queue.html is missin=
g this link.=0A=
=0A=
I find the tools page very useful and tend to use that page more than the d=
atatracker page. But the queue2 link to the author responses is very very =
helpful. Would be very very good if the tools page pointed to the queue2 p=
age (to spare me the pain of remembering to check both).=0A=
=0A=
(Don't think I'm not appreciative of the tools team work. I am. Very very=
.)=0A=

Fixed in the template source. Should be visible on individual WG pages
within about an hour.

Thank you :-)

Fixed in the template source. Should be visible on individual WG pages
within about an hour.

Three wiki permissions questions.

(1)

I checked the Admin on the sidr wiki site and saw that Geoff Huston is list=
ed as having Trac_Admin persmissions.

Geoff was co-chair, but has not been for awhile. Is there a reason why he =
still has Trac_Admin permission? Would he be notified if I removed that?

(2)

A list of attendees for an upcoming interim meeting is being maintained on=
a page in the sidr wiki. An inappropriate change was made to that page, w=
hich alerted me to the fact that the permissions were set a bit too broadly=
 - anyone who was "authenticated" had wiki_modify permission.

There are pages in that wiki that I think would be appropriate for anyone t=
o modify, and there are pages that only the chairs should modify (like the =
registered attendees).

But it looks like any change I make to one page is effective site-wide.

I tried setting the URLs in the Basic Settings to the specifc page, but tha=
t did not seem to help.

To ensure that changes to the attendee page are access controlled, I've had=
to remove modify permission for "authenticated" users for all pages.

That is not ideal.

If there is a way to make the permissions specific to a page, I'd appreciat=
e a helpful hint.

(3)

I presume "authenticated" means that one has logged in with a tools site lo=
gin account. Who is allowed to get a login account on the tools site? =20
