   Monday, Morning Session I 0900-1130
Room Name: Room 303 size: 200

That=E2=80=99s good because that means there will be some people from =
the Saturday=E2=80=99s RAIM workshop that will be able to also attend =
the hops meeting.

We are already in contact with a couple of people to presentation data =
and measurements techniques for middlebox detection. We will try and =
post a preliminary agenda as soon as possible!

If you have also something interesting to present in the scope of hops, =
please let us know now!

All,

working on an update draft for RFC2330 (ippm measurements, approved back
in 1998!) I stumbled over a paragraph that fits into the context of hops
(RFC 2330, page 30, second paragraph):

"A closely related note: it would be very useful to know if a given
Internet component treats equally a class C of different types of
packets. If so, then any one of those types of packets can be used
for subsequent measurement of the component. This suggests we devise
a metric or suite of metrics that attempt to determine C."

Reads like a draft abstract of hops (not exactly, but very close).
Written more than 17 years ago.

See you in Yokohama
Joachim

Hi all,

We=E2=80=99ve uploaded a draft agenda:

https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/94/agenda/hopsrg/

We believe that this already looks like an interesting meeting! =
Hopefully to you as well!

However, there is still a little time left on the agenda. Pretty sure =
that we will be able to use this time for discussions on next steps. But =
if there are more people who=E2=80=99d like to present their work/data =
on middlebox impairments, we can probably find time. So just let us =
know, if you have something else!

Otherwise, see you in Yokohama!
Brian & Mirja=
