A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the IP Telephony Working Group of the IETF.

Title : New Parameters for the "tel" URI to Support Number Portability
	Author(s)	: J. Yu
	Filename	: draft-ietf-iptel-tel-np-05.txt
	Pages : 13
	Date : 2005-6-6

This document defines several new parameters in the "tel" Uniform
Resource Identifier (URI) to carry the number portability (NP)-
related information that can be passed to the next-hop network node
after an NP database dip has been performed.

This work is being discussed on the iptel@ietf.org mailing list.

A URL for this Internet-Draft is:
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-iptel-tel-np-05.txt

To remove yourself from the I-D Announcement list, send a message to
i-d-announce-request@ietf.org with the word unsubscribe in the body of the message.
You can also visit https://www1.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/I-D-announce
to change your subscription settings.

Internet-Drafts are also available by anonymous FTP. Login with the username
"anonymous" and a password of your e-mail address. After logging in,
type "cd internet-drafts" and then
	"get draft-ietf-iptel-tel-np-05.txt".

A list of Internet-Drafts directories can be found in
http://www.ietf.org/shadow.html
or ftp://ftp.ietf.org/ietf/1shadow-sites.txt

Internet-Drafts can also be obtained by e-mail.

Send a message to:
	mailserv@ietf.org.
In the body type:
	"FILE /internet-drafts/draft-ietf-iptel-tel-np-05.txt".

NOTE:	The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
	how to manipulate these messages.

Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the
Internet-Draft.

Subject: Approval to Post Version -00 Internet-Drafts for the 63rd IETF
Meeting in Paris, France

Dear IETF Working Group Chairs:

In order to expedite the processing of the many version -00 I-Ds that
the Secretariat receives before an IETF meeting, we ask that you
please notify the Secretariat prior to the initial submission cutoff
date of all version -00 I-Ds that you expect to approve for posting as
WG documents. Please send the filenames of your approved -00 I-Ds to
internet-drafts@ietf.org. We would appreciate receiving your list of
approved drafts four (4) business days prior to the cutoff date for -00
submissions, or by Tuesday, July 5th at 9:00 AM ET for the 63rd IETF
Meeting. Please include the word "Approved I-Ds" in the "Subject"
field. This procedure will help to ensure that version -00 I-Ds are
posted in a timely manner, allowing more time for review by the public.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

The Internet-Drafts Administrator

FYI: The Internet-Draft cutoff dates as well as other significant dates
for the 63rd IETF Meeting can be found at
http://www.ietf.org/meetings/cutoff_dates_63.html.

I just submitted a revision. Please view it when it is available.

It corrected the syntax - the earlier version would result in "++" in =
global-rn or global-cic. Thank Anders Kristensen for catching that =
error.

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the IP Telephony Working Group of the IETF.

Title : New Parameters for the "tel" URI to Support Number Portability
	Author(s)	: J. Yu
	Filename	: draft-ietf-iptel-tel-np-06.txt
	Pages : 13
	Date : 2005-6-30

This document defines several new parameters in the "tel" Uniform
Resource Identifier (URI) to carry the number portability (NP)-
related information that can be passed to the next-hop network node
after an NP database dip has been performed.

This work is being discussed on the iptel@ietf.org mailing list.

A URL for this Internet-Draft is:
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-iptel-tel-np-06.txt

To remove yourself from the I-D Announcement list, send a message to
i-d-announce-request@ietf.org with the word unsubscribe in the body of the message.
You can also visit https://www1.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/I-D-announce
to change your subscription settings.

Internet-Drafts are also available by anonymous FTP. Login with the username
"anonymous" and a password of your e-mail address. After logging in,
type "cd internet-drafts" and then
	"get draft-ietf-iptel-tel-np-06.txt".

A list of Internet-Drafts directories can be found in
http://www.ietf.org/shadow.html
or ftp://ftp.ietf.org/ietf/1shadow-sites.txt

Internet-Drafts can also be obtained by e-mail.

Send a message to:
	mailserv@ietf.org.
In the body type:
	"FILE /internet-drafts/draft-ietf-iptel-tel-np-06.txt".
