Dear all,

As you may have noticed draft-mattsson-mikey-ticket-05 was approved by the =
IESG yesterday. I just want to point out that the Document Quality informat=
ion in the Document Action mail is incorrect. The Document Action mail that=
was sent out on the IETF Announcements list wrongfully states:=20

------------------------------------------------------------

Document Quality

There are no existing implementations of the protocol, but the protocol is =
one option under consideration by 3GPP.=20

------------------------------------------------------------

The protocol is not one option under consideration by 3GPP. It has been cho=
sen by 3GPP for high security e2e media security in IMS. The document 3GPP =
TS 33.328 has already been approved by the SA plenary (similar to IESG and =
the last step in the 3GPP process).

During the development of the draft, we implemented the protocol according =
to the profiling in 3GPP TS 33.328 and used it to secure video calls in an =
IMS system. The implementation led to that a couple of implementation detai=
ls unclarities were fixed and gave input to several enhancements (included =
in the current draft).

Best Regards
John=
