Hi James

Sorry, I am lost on your meaning. Can you elaborate your question or point

Subject: [Netext] Notes from dinner@MPLS
Message-ID: <1226990909.5319.22.camel@localhost>

Hi folks,

Some notes about what we discussed/agreed tonight.

Disclaimer: I've just written what I think are the highlights of the
discussion, I might missed some or misunderstood others. If that is the
case, I hope other people present in the dinner correct me.

=======================================================================
Date: Monday 2008-11-17
Number of attendees: ~25

Rajeev briefly summarises current status. We didn't have a official BoF
in MPLS because Jari wanted NetLMM to finish some work before bringing
more PMIPv6 related work to the IETF. He asked the group to work in the
PS, to clarify the scope and to keep working on the documents that we
have. It seems that we may have a official BoF in San Francisco.

Rajeev and Raj want to keep working on the PS and the charter and
encourages people to read current charter and provide comments. Next
step is to come up with a PS draft, 4-5 pages max, clearly explaining
the work items we want to work on. We have 3 clear identified items:
multihoming, localised routing (aka Route Optimisation), and
inter-technology handovers. A fourth item could be signalling
optimisations.

Rajeev and Raj ask for volunteers to provide a first text for the PS
draft. The idea is that they are the responsible people to compile/write
that input. Some text could be reused from current solution drafts. It
is important to clearly limit the scope of the work we are willing to
work on. Selected people:

	- Mohana Jeyatharan for the multihoming part.
	- Marco Liebsch for the Localised Routing part.
	- Suresh Krishnan for the inter-technology handovers part.

The tentative (already extended ;->) deadline for a first version of
this PS draft is mid-December, so we have something before Christmas. As
soon as we are done with this, we might start looking at solutions, so
once the WG is approved we can quickly go over solutions discussions.
=======================================================================

	Cheers,

	Carlos

Hi,ryuji
My name is James Guo. I just look through your
draft(draft-wakikawa-pmip-ct-00) and wonder what should you do if some
access technology can not support the second condition in your assumption?

Hi all,

I just submitted the document.
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-wakikawa-pmip-ct-00.txt

I couldn't submit the draft from ietf networks. I finally found the problem.
The submission page at tools site does not work with IPv6 :-<

Hi all,

I knew PFMIP is being standardized as a context transfer mechanism in
MIPSHOP.
However, I believe it's still good to have an independent CT solution
for PMIP.

I wrote a short document and put it on the web (missed submission
deadline somehow...)
http://www.mobileip.jp/draft-wakikawa-pmip-ct-00.txt

- No new message directly exchanged between MAGs, but always
exchanged via LMA. (i.e. No security association among MAGs.)
- Workable across different wireless technology.

I'll submit this draft as soon as submission page is re-opened.

regards,
ryuji
