All -

These documents have finished WG LC. One document draft-ietf-bfd-
v4v6-1hop, required some clarifying text (thanks Carlos) which has
already been submitted. Thus, we are calling WG LC "completed."

There has been a recent modification to the MIB (-04) but, we need
another advancement of the MIB to include all the functionality in
the documents below. We will progress what we have but the MIB will
hold up PS status (we will have official versions thankfully of all
of the base documents).

As a WG we will not turn to the point to multipoint spec and the DHCP
bootstrapping drafts.

Onwards and upwards ...

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts
directories.
This draft is a work item of the Bidirectional Forwarding Detection Working Group of the IETF.

	Title : Bidirectional Forwarding Detection
	Author(s)	: D. Katz, D. Ward
	Filename	: draft-ietf-bfd-base-08.txt
	Pages : 47
	Date : 2008-3-24

This document describes a protocol intended to detect faults in the
bidirectional path between two forwarding engines, including
interfaces, data link(s), and to the extent possible the forwarding
engines themselves, with potentially very low latency. It operates
independently of media, data protocols, and routing protocols.
Comments on this draft should be directed to rtg-bfd@ietf.org.
