Hi

We're looking to change the ticket workflow for the dmarc project in
tracker.

Based on the documentation at
https://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracWorkflow#AdditionalTicketWorkflows
we believe
this requires an update to the trac.ini file associated with the dmarc
project.

Based on our reading of the documentation, can we change the
[ticket-workflow] section of the trac.ini file, with the current contents
of that section removed and replaced with the contents of the
opensource-workflow.ini template included with the source tree and found
online here -
https://trac.edgewall.org/browser/branches/1.4-stable/contrib/workflow/opensource-workflow.ini

thanks
tim

Hi Tim -

This is done. As a point of order, the Trac setup on the IETF is highly
customized, and strongly linked to the Datatracker. As a result, I
cannot guarantee that these changes will work properly (or at all), nor
that they will "stick" (and not at some point be overwritten by an
automated custom process I don't know about.) But I've updated the
file, so give it a shot and let me know (at ietf-action@ietf.org please)
if there are any problems.

All -

Just a reminder that operational change requests should be directed to
ietf-action@ietf.org . I sometimes see messages on this list, but not
always. To reach the IT team and get things done, ietf-action is the
address to contact.

Thanks!
Glen

Well, I'm not sure what you mean, and it's not my list, but my personal
opinion is that it probably does need some updating. Right now it says:

> Tools-discuss mailing list
> Tools-discuss@ietf.org
> https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/tools-discuss
>

which is long even by my own very-long-winded-email standards. :-)

I could see tightening it up a little, perhaps to something like:

--snip--

Tools-discuss mailing list - tools-discuss@ietf.org
This list is for discussion, not for action requests or bug reports.
* Report Datatracker bugs to: datatracker-project@ietf.org
* Report tools.ietf.org bugs to: webmaster@tools.ietf.org
* Report all other bugs or issues to: ietf-action@ietf.org
Unsubscribe at: https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/tools-discuss

--snip--

but that is up to Russ and Robert, the list owners, so they should weigh
in on your question.

Glen

I agree with Bob, especially since I search my mail to 'tools' and start

We've been using DOI-based references via bibxml7 on tools.ietf.org for QUIC. We have a bunch of these that refer to DOIs under 10.1145 (which I believe is ACM). Tools has been returning 404 on these DOIs for a few days now.

Is there something that can be done about this? It's not a good situation. I don't really want to inline these references, but I'm about to do that, because the current state is making it difficult to make progress.

Hi Martin -

The machine that had been serving bibxml=C2=A0 and the online xml2rfc=20
converter (a volunteer run system, primarily sustained through the=20
efforts of Henrik and Tony Hansen) suffered an unrecoverable error.

It is being replaced. There are some issues getting the software that=20
generates bibxml7 in particular back online - Tony is working it, and it =

should be back soon.

We are already on a path to build a new version of the online xml2rfc=20
and bibxml services that can run more redundantly.

(If you want to reply to this, please be careful to honor the Reply-To:=20
codesprints@ietf.org header).

We are considering holding one or more CodeSprints well before IETF 110=20
instead of (or perhaps in addition to) the Saturday before the meeting.

If you've never been to an IETF CodeSprint, please consider joining for=20
a couple of hours, even if only to learn about how you can contribute.

The doodle is at=20
https://doodle.com/poll/vz2uh2wez79e8xf8?utm_source=3Dpoll&utm_medium=3Dl=
ink.

Please note that it offers many more options than it initially displays. =

The doodle includes the Saturday before the meeting if that remains your =

preference.

Please let me know what date/times would work for you as soon as you can.=
