Event information (input to the Google SoC project) * Derivation Currently derived from ~ 10 different sources, including all_id.txt, rfc data (xml), rfc queue data (xml), tracker, etc. * Availability Available from 2003 and forward - early dates with less info, derived from Bills and own dumps. * Historical data Event history available in internal format from 2003 - make this available some way? Yes -- suggestions: * RSS? per-draft feeds should be simple, but the more you aggregate, the more dubious it becomes... * SOAP? It would probably be useful to provide some kind of standard query interface over these data - don't know exactly which standard has something appropriate * Home-grown CGI? Possible, but would take a lot of work to get rich enough? * SQL interface / ODBC interface? Would provide a rich query language, and not too much overhead compared with the current flat-file format, if done with the right table layout. 3. Google SoC project * Summing up Finished, almost ready for beta * Beta testing Will start once message templates are ready -- 3 weeks? 4. Secretariat database availability * Basic information Dumps now available, but needs to be cleaned from some information before they can be made public. * Cleaning up details - Comments marked private - Phone numbers? - Email addresses? - Postal addresses? * All of the above.
