Definition of a new attribute

Each solid can contain attributes, like name, material, drawing number etc… These attributes are used in BOM for creation of list of parts. They can be used for automatic filling of title blocks. Solids in 3D space can be selected according to their attributes.

In this example, a new attribute called "dwg. no." is created. The attribute type is defined as "General" type, value is "Text" value, the attribute is configured to be printed into formatted text and to be displayed in the title block. The attribute will be required for all manufactured parts.
