You can create threaded holes, insert threaded cylinders (used often as threaded ends of shafts) or create a thread at an outer cylindrical surface. You can select threads according to ISO (metric threads), according to Unified National Screw Threads (ANSI), or pipe threads ISO 228.

Threads are properly recognized in 3D space, interferences are correctly checked and if exported to 2D drawing, sections or axial views contain correctly displayed threads. Method of 2D threads creation can be configured. If a thread exported from 3D is dimensioned in 2D (using thread dimensions), default dimension text contains correct thread attributes (like M10, M10x1…).
